Minimum: Just watch and absorb what you can. Or not. All this music theory is helpful but not required for the rest of the course.

Ambitious: Be able to find each of the 12 notes on all six strings, as demonstrated in the video. Use a metronome at 50bpm until you can get through all 12 notes without missing a beat.
